Living costs

Polish students usually have approximately 900 zł (Polish złoty) to spend on the rent, food and entertainment.

Here are approximate exchange rates:
1 EUR = approximately 4,30 zł
1 USD = approximately 4,00 zł

Accommodation

The dormitory (Krasińskiego 27, Katowice) is located about 700 m from the Academy buildings. It offers the following rooms:

• double rooms without a bathroom (PLN 4000 per person per month)
• double rooms with a bathroom (PLN 450 per person per month)
   

Please note that double rooms are shared by two students of equal gender.

The toilets and showers as well as kitchens are available on each floor.

The students living in the dormitory can have free access to the Internet, providing they sign a contract for the Internet service.

Meals

There is a restaurant on the premises of the Academy serving sandwiches, salads, pastries, tea and coffee at low prices (with a discount for students and staff).
